In an overbooked, overworked, under-slept environment, even pausing for a moment can be followed with a wallop of guilt—I should have done something more productive. Rest is a privilege, but it should be a right. In this content-driven partnership from Well+Good, we explored the relationship between being well-rested and ready to explore—embarking on an expedition that highlighted all of the ways Ford could help you escape everyday burnout.

 

Revitalizing a beloved beauty awards franchise

The beauty awards, an annual “best of” franchise that highlighted the best new beauty products across a variety of categories, had been a staple of the magazine. But after SELF folded its print publication, the series floundered online amidst a plethora of competitor content. In my role, I spearheaded the franchise, growing it YoY to increase affiliate and licensing revenue. The multi-month, cross-platform endeavor involved project management, creative strategy, copywriting and editing, plus collaboration across multiple business stakeholders.
